From Polystores to PolyDBMS: The Polypheny Experience

PolyDBMS generalize polystores by turning heterogeneous engines and data models into a single transactional DBMS with one catalog, one optimizer, and unified semantics. In this lightning talk, we illustrate the PolyDBMS idea through Polypheny, an open-source system that manages relational, document, and graph data across multiple storage engines.
